  1. I am 11 and like the idea of coming and flying planes as a hobby. What do I need to know about your club and how do I get involved?
Is there an age limit? What sort of plane do I need? Can I buy a plane or do I have to build one?
    Thanks,
    Hunter

    1. Hi Hunter, thanks for your questions. Good to hear that you are interested in this great hobby. Our club is operating at the Yokine open space at Dryden street and you can find us near the eastern car park. We teach our members all they need to know to fly a model plane safely. We are first of all a glider club but do fly motor planes as well, if they are electric. A club membership is essential for flying in Yokine and it gives you liability insurance cover. You can fly with us 4 times before you have to apply for membership. We have at least 2 members with WWC permit so your parents don’t have to be present all the time.
Come to Yokine on any Saturday 10am to 1pm and just talk to us for more information. We will show you what we do and recommend a selection of beginner’s planes. We don’t fly drones or helicopters.
Hope to see you some time in Yokine!
      Regards
      Tony Sippl

  2. Truly sorry but I cannot make it this Saturday because I have something very important to attend maybe next Saturday.
    Kind regards, Hunter
